Tidbits to get us up to date again!

  Me... feeding my chickens ♥
Actually, if you want the gut-honest truth, I hate them, hahaha! I have raised them since they were hatchlings, but there are SO many, that they usually only attack and tackle me, and peck at my bare toes as if they are worms or something. They're wings aren't clipped, so they will fly up and claw my back...not a nice bunch of hens, to say the least! But, whatever...they'll give us beautiful eggs, so its worth it!

And incase anyone is wondering...yes, all of my kids have been attacked by the vicious flock...but Emilie knows now how to yell at them and wave her arms, so they don't bother her much anymore, lol! I guess that's one awesome perk to having a fiesty baby girl!

Down for a nap, with her new quilt! We have a sweet girl that attends our church when she is home on furlough from India, and the ministry she serves with helps women in India to work in their homes, creating lovely products...such as make-up bags, scarves, baby quilts, headbands, beaded earings and necklaces, stuffed animals, purses and handbags...and so much more! If you would be interested in purchasing any of these items, and supporting these families in India, you can visit their facebook page to order....

These are miss Emilie's longies! I am slowly making her winter stash between Baby Snickerdoodles' custom orders. This is her second pair, and is a very pretty pinkish/purplish color! Her first pair is dark purple, light purples, and white...and her next pair will be a very variegated multicolor yarn...I can't wait to share it! I am working on the legs of that pair now :D

I joined a facebook group this summer, that was 40 bags in 40 days, encouraging me to go through my whole house, especially problem areas, and clean out/sort out the items that need to be tossed or given away! I had really been putting off cleaning under our sink, but I finally MADE Myself do it! I got 2 bags of trash/junk out of there, and had so much room under the sink, that we decided to put Buck's massive food bag under there too, lol!

Pretty Little Miss! I just had to get some photos of her looking so fancy! Doesn't she look Spanish? ♥

We took the boys on a nice walk to get some fresh air the other day! It was MUCH needed (for mommy as well!). We walked to see the new longhorn steer, and then down to the farmstead, to see the new litter of puppies! Cheyenne had hid them underneath the porch, but that didn't deter the boys! They were peeking through cracks to see them, and count how many there are :)

Yes, I DID say new longhorn steer! Isn't he incredible? Trust me...he is huge and freaky up close! But he seems to mostly chillax, so it doesn't stress me out TOO much having him in our backyard. Thank the Lord for electric fences, and a husband to make sure they are always working!

And here is pretty girl again....she LOVES playing the piano, as all the kids do...but she likes to do fancy finger work, and sing while she plays, which is something the boys DON'T all love to do. I can't wait to see if she is a singer like her mama! I loved singing with my mommy all growing up...so I will sing with my baby even if she can't hold a tune...but I would love it for her sake if she could learn to sing and play with mama ♥
