Okay, so I figured ya'll deserved a preview of my latest wool before it goes live in my shop. The woolies and soaker are both newborn size, and the leg warmers are newborn-12 months but they don't go in my shop, they are for a customer at market.

Enjoy!

The Egg & I

On the left is a jumbo egg, in a jumbo egg carton.

On the right is one of OUR chicken's eggs.
In the shop, we have an egg grading scale. This Egg doesn't fit.

Again, here is the same carton. The "smallest" eggs pictured here are jumbo eggs.
All the big ones are from our chickens.

Those poor hens!

"I'm a bad guy."

So here's the story:

We were watching one of the DVD's Timothy had been given for Christmas, called "The Lone Ranger". Tyler was being horrible, obnoxious, and altogether dreadful. So he got sent to his room to cool off a bit, while the rest of us were out in the living room still watching the rest of the episodes. All of the sudden, Jon's eyes got big, and he said quietly, "Heather, slowly turn around", as he inconspicuously turned on the camera to get THIS picture:

This look (above) was for Jonathan. Before any of us could talk (for fear of open unchecked laughter...), Tyler said in a low husky voice, "I'm a bad guy."

**note the diaper holster for his gun**

Now THIS look, was at me, when I let out a little giggle (I was to Jonny's right, in a chair). Again, he said, "Mom, I'm a bad guy." in that low husky voice.

It was just too much!!!

Well, we made sure our little bandit was gonna be good, and decided that the he could finish watching the Lone Ranger with us.

I guess he decided the low-life wasn't for him, and chucked the black "bad guy hat" for his own straw hat...and said "I'm a good guy now!!!"

And I guess Micah just had to get in on the action, but he doesn't look "bad guyish" enough to me, hm...

The Boys' BIG gift

Jonathan and Snoball spent SO much time and effort on this beautiful swingset/playhouse. The boys have loved it, unfortunately its been either snowy or freezing lately, so they haven't been out as much as we all would hope, but I know that it is going to be well worth all the effort come spring/summer!

(This was before they brought the playhouse and assembled it onto the rest of the swingset)

All done now! Isn't it fantastic?

Christmas Morning, 2010

This has been the best Christmas yet I think...Jason and Tyler are older now and more appreciative of things, and although Micah still wanted to remove and throw every christmas tree ball until it broke, he really had a high respect for the wrapped gifts, and quietly waited his turn to be given a gift to unwrap. He was so excited about all his gifts, and gave each one a good playing with before even THINKING about opening another package. It was so cute!

(Jonny got a bluegrass CD...thats why he's smiling)

Tyler got a train track and some engines!

In the spirit of true country foke, we got our boys some items that might come in handy (Jason: BB Gun, Tyler: Cap Pistol)...complete with cowboy hats!
***Timothy just needed to feel the power momentarily***

Now, in the true TRUE spirit of country foke, Timothy got Jon and Jason (and himself *ahem*) a hunting game where you hold the rifle and shoot. We have had lots of fun family nights with that thing!!! Anyone have more batteries????

This is Micah's all time favorite gift (which I figured it would be, knowing how crazy he is about MY cell phone...). He constantly plays with it, and if he has put it somewhere, and we ask him, "Where is your cell phone??", he gets all frantic and runs off to find it, and brings it to us :)
What an easy baby to please!

My Beautiful Entertainment Center!

When we decided to move the week before Christmas, there were some compromises that we came to...that we would leave behind a couple pieces of furniture. One of those pieces was a HUGE entertainement center/bookshelf.

I was quite distrought, so Jonathan and the boys (Micah & Tim...) started making comments about how Jon could just build me an awesome entertainement center, and it would be better than my old one.

"Yeah right! Since when do husbands who build for a living ever really build for their wives what their wives need them to build??"

Famous last words to a guy like Jonathan, who takes comments like that as a challenge!
Therefore, here is my entertainement center...built and delivered by Jon and Tim only a couple days after the move:

(There is now a shelf added directly above the TV, where the DVD and VHS are...out of reach of the children)
