Jason's 2nd Birthday!

McDonalds, here we come!

What's so awesome, is that ALL of us were running around in the tubes and slides! We had a blast, and even got the "Grandma's" to climb up there. The 'thing to do' for us girls, was to climb up the huge slide in our socks. WHEW! Throw out the pilates, hula, and erobics workout videos!!!

The kids were all treated to ice cream cones, and us adults (uh...older kids anyway) got free coffees, since there was a promotion going on. It was a blast, and we definitely let the kids wear off the sugar before coming home.

The Small Zoo

We had so much fun going to the zoo! Its not a huge zoo, but definitely was worth the money. Here are some pictures from the outing. It was so nice to do something fun with Jonathan before his trip to North Carolina for the week.

While Daddy's away....

The children will go crazy!

Ok, here is the run-down of, lets call them..."Incidents".

~Jason Kicked Tyler in the face 3 times, while wearing shoes.
~Jason Threw his sippy cup at Grace's Face.
~Jason jumps on pile of pillows (and uncle's Sam, Zee, and Jeremiah), and gets a bloody nose.
~Tyler falls straight backward onto his head, after mommy JUST finishes saying that he lately has been catching himself from falling, or else having graceful falls that don't hurt. Ugh.
~Tyler grabs mommy's face, therefore poking his baby finger into mommies nose, cutting it really bad, and making mommy soak a tissue with blood.
~Jason gets into Grandma and Grandpa's toilet upstairs, therefore we give him bath, and after peeing in the bath water, he splashes my mom with the water. Lovely.
~We go garage sale-ing, and mommy finds the bigest wooden spoon in the history of mankind!(slight exaggeration) Ah...the endless possibilities...
~Jason throws mommy's keys in the kitty litter box, which 'conveniently' land right in a fresh pile of poop that Meow just deposited, and DIDN'T COVER...which is unusual (and therefore so ironic).
~After arriving home, and passing Jason on the path to put Tyler in bed, mommy hears Jason enter house and say something about the door being open, in the kitchen. Mommy returns in 5 seconds, to find no Jason inside or outside. In a frantic search, mommy finds Jason out by the open car door, struggling with a grocery bag, and said, "Mommy, Jason help bring the groceries in?" and mommy starts crying.
~Grandpa takes Jason down to Uncle Jim's house (where Jonathan has been working for the past 5 months), and he walks through the house calling, "Daddy, where are you?"
~It snows in April!

There were good times too...don't get me wrong :) But, overall, I will be SO happy to have Jonathan back safely home.

Our New Kitten

Well, after wishing and wishing we could get a puppy for Jason, we decided to break down and at least get him a kitty. As much as I usually dislike animals, I really like the way of a cat. They definitely like to snuggle and get a scratch, but they also love their independence, and just roam around like they own their homes. I could care less if the cat is decieved...all I want is a low maintenance ball of fur for me to pet sometimes, take care of, and Jason to love on.

So, hello kitty! I had a couple unique names picked out, as I didn't want to call this kitten something ordinary or simple (as many pet owners do). So! We settled on "Shasta". We told Jason over and over what her name was...and he would say it too! However, if we would ask, "Jason, what is your kitty's name?", he would promptly reply, "Its Meow". I did my best, but nothing could be done. Jason had decided that our kitten's name was "Meow". In my opinion it is worse than some other common names, but I know after awhile, it will grow on me simply because Jason named her that :)

So, Here is our "Meow"! We don't know the exact date of her birth, but I am fairly certain it was around February 8th, so I am gonna name that her birthday. So, she is now 7 weeks old. She is the tiniest thing! Full of energy, but definitely a snuggle-bug when she wants to. Jason adores her, and loves playing 'hide and seek' with her (guess why the CAT does the hiding???). Its pretty cute.
