Written update

Well I don't have any pictures to bless you with, but a little update now and then is good, right?

The Hawkins girls are still staying with Uncle William about 3 minutes away from us, so its been nice to see them every couple of days :) I am pretty sure that its "public" now that the girls will be staying with them now for the remainder of the time before coming to help me out in my last month of pregnancy...rather than going home, as they were considering doing after Aunt Inez passed away. I know this a HUGE blessing to their family (Uncle Will's family).

I am staying busy now that I have a new sewing machine (yay!). It is a dream, so much quieter than my old singer. I hope to repair the singer sometime, but right now my new Kenmore is doing just fantastic! I am making sure to keep the wool fluff out of it though, so we don't have any stall-ups with the gears. Baby Snickerdoodles is doing pretty well, but not overwhelmingly so, which is a perfect balance I think.

We have been plagued by the flu and colds lately, so I am looking forward to being healthy. I know the whole nation is dealing with these viruses though, so I'm not alone! LOL!

Jonathan is getting busier and busier with farm work, as they prepare to plant hay, and get ready for the batches of goat kids that will be here soon. In my mind I was thinking I would get to spend more time with him if he was a "farmer"....but yeah right! He leaves around 4:15am and usually doesn't get home until 6:30 or 7pm. He'll sometimes come by for a late breakfast or late lunch, but that last about 15 minutes and then he's off again! LOL! I miss time with him, but overall we are so much happier and the kids love it here too.

Jason spends too much time thinking about N64 games, but he also loves going outside, and playing with his brothers. He does a little bit of schoolwork everyday, but its not hard-core yet, just getting down pat letters, numbers, and basic schooling concepts. He is CRAZY about geography, and loves looking through Jon's big atlas and asking questions about the maps.

Tyler is almost done potty training, which is SO nice since the new baby is almost here and I really don't want 3 kids in dipes at once, ugh! His favorite thing lately, is playing out by our front tree, with the set of little yellow construction equipment, in the dirt. He has started talking MUCH more and says the funniest things sometimes, making me realize that Jason is rubbing off on him ;)

Micah is such a good baby, God has blessed me so much with him! He goes down for a nap and nighttime just angelically, and is self-potty training himself! He goes in his potty chair about 5-6 times a day now? My diapering routine has gotten so much easier, but I do have to use more vinegar in the dipe wash, because they sit in the diaper pail longer since we don't have as frequent changes!

Baby is doing fine, but definitely is more active at nighttime. We thought we were gonna find out what baby was, but unfortunately there are some legalities with ultrasound services in our area that make them unable to scan unless I have a regular OB or CNM. I suppose if the Lord wants it to happen it will, but I am not gonna push for the ultrasound, and just try to do other things to bond with Baby and prepare for the birth of a boy AND a girl (hee hee!). We still haven't decided on names, but are much closer with a girl name than a boy name. We'll announce the name choices as soon as they are rock solid ;)

I hope that gets ya'll up to date!
