"Medieval Times" Performance

Our "Knight" was the Red Knight...hence the red crowns and our red streamer!
He was "the knight of the king", so we had to cheer extra hard for him...and he ended up being the last knight standing, and faught the evil dude along side of the prince!
GO RED KNIGHT! WOOOHOO!

This is the balcony in the main Hall, at the Tournament! We waited here before we were brought to the arena (and our tables/seats). There was a gift shop, a "dungeon" horror house, bathrooms (THANKYOU says the preggo lady....), and a bar for drinks (NO THANKYOU says the preggo lady)

Here is us! Waiting in the main hall...and starving...

This was a huge mural in the hall, above one of the bars. It was amazing!

Now for the grub! We were denied silverware, so everything we ate was hands-on literally! The bowl and plate were solid metal, but our cup was plastic. We got "Dragons blood" soup (uh, tomato/veggie soup), Dragon egg (an herb baked 1/2 potato), Baby Dragon (half an herb roasted chicken), Dragon Rib (a spare rib), then a royal pastry for dessert (Apple-filled flaky croissant thing). It was DELICIOUS!

The princess...who was the WORST actress ever...but she was pretty :)

Our Red Knight

All the knights together, ready to start the tournament! They had sword fighting, lancing, and sheild & chain/ball thing. They also had to snag a ring with their lances, and then throw a spear into a target. It was awesome and the horses did BEAUTIFUL!

There was a storyline, but it was kinda lame...but in between tournament games and the storyline, they brought the andalusian horses out for lots of tricks and footwork...they were fantastic to watch IRL!
