Maggie Valley, Fall 2011!

Bedtime in the camper! Obviously certain children are hyper...not sure how much sleep is gonna happen here ;)

Morning time in the living area, with Snoball and Janice

Jonathan...coffee in hand... watching the news like a good rancher should!

PRETTY much all Micah would say the entire trip, was "eh neh neh DINOsaur, rhar!"
Janice bustin out the moves with the little boys, on the dance floor at the Stompin' Ground...a world-famous Clogging center. We had some great blue-grass music to dance to, and I got to dance with both Jon AND Snoball...be jealous, be very jealous.. ;)

The boys, still dancing their little hearts out off the floor, while the cloggers performed ♥

Cloggers performance! It was SO much fun to watch!

Jason, watching the performance. He looks JUST like Isaiah to me in this picture..its kinda freaky lol!

As the night wears on....Tyler gets pooped...

The next few pictures are of the homestead area we visited...its a tourist attraction up in the Great Smokies...it was SO neat to see and read all about this farm!

These were the fences to keep the livestock out of the crops. You can see Snoball, Janice holding Emi, Jon, Micah running toward them, and the two older boys obviously trying to break into the fence lol!

The boys helping the Homestead Ranger to water the pigs

We went out into the field of sorghum and got some of the seed pods from the top of the stalks, and fed them to the pigs! They LOVED it!

An old refridgeration technique! Find a spring, let the icy water flow through large troughs. Put containers in large troughs, to keep them ice cold as the water flows around them! Ingenius!

Sleeping baby....

Jon watching the boys play by the river. They mostly just threw leaves in :)
By some benches and lean-to on the farm, with an outbuilding behind me

Snoball and Janice taking a rest while the kids played by the river
There is a park right by Snoball and Janice's Campground, where we would walk to every day. Emilie wanted to play so badly, so I let her hang out in one of the tubes, and MAN did she have the time of her life!

Jason decided to see how fast he could race around the ENTIRE playground. I think he made it in about 50 seconds, and it was a BIG playground! Flash :)

Micah, looking down at me from the playset..I think he was trying to pout because he wanted me to play with him, but I had to stay down and watch Emi. He forgot about it a second later and had a blast going up and down the slide!
