Walmart Accident

Life has been busy and crazy here lately, with all the family comings and goings. The other day, Jon and Cyle made a trip to Walmart to get some items. Unfortunately, they took all 3 little boys and had a bad "basket" accident.

Tyler was in the basket, Nick was outside but hanging onto the end, and Jason was on the side. Somehow or another, we think Tyler walked to the side of the basket, and the whole thing tipped over and fell on Jason and Nick. Nick got pinned under the basket with Tyler on top of him, but praise the Lord, he only ended up with some aches and bruises! Jason on the other hand had his head bounce off the floor when he fell, and when Jon picked him up, the bump swelled so fast that the skin burst open, *POP!*. Gross, I know.

So, with a bleeding screaming child, Jon ran to the bathroom while Cyle got some bandages to fix him up, and they did a good job. Jonathan was all bloody when they got home, and they were all emptyhanded because they didn't have time to buy their stuff, lol! Poor boys!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jason is recovering well, but here are some pictures of a couple days after the incident, when I took off the big bandage (he still had a butterfly bandage on).

Now he is famous! We went to Walmart the other day, and a guy in the meat department asked Jason how he hurt his head. When he told the employee, he said "oh yeah! We heard all about you...that happened a couple days ago, didn't it??". So, apparently the Walmart employees got debriefed on the incident should we chose to sue...silly people, lol!

Anyhow, he is doing great, we are doing fine, and Walmart can keep their millions...we just will have to work out another system when shopping with 6 children 4 years old and younger :)
