"Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

...How lovely..." that you cost only 1 memorable night out on our propery with our little family, flashlights, and a saw...

Hee hee! This was SO much fun! I love paying nothing for something wonderful, don't you? Yeah, so its a cedar tree... I can buy some candles at the dollar store to make it smell nice in our house. But, it really was so wonderful going out in the freezing cold with flashlights at nighttime, and picking out the most perfect tree we could find. The little boys were having so much fun, and Micah was chilaxin in the moby, and keeping ME warm :)

We had an entertaining time decorating the tree, for sure! The highlight of the night, was when I looked over, and realized that all the ornaments I was handing the little boys, were all being put on 2 branches...Jason's branch on the left side of the tree, and Tyler's branch on the right side of the tree at the bottom. It was HILARIOUS! Those poor branches had 6+ ornaments on them, and they were looking kinda droopy.

We were gonna just "fix" things once the boys went to bed, but then we realized that these were prized "hot spots", and would instantly be noticed and the loss be mourned over in the morning. So, I explained to them both that we needed to spread the special ornaments ALL over the tree, and both boys took turns with us lifting them up to put things all over the tree. It was a sweet and precious family time.

I love having little boys...*Sigh*
